Series 18 - Winter 2020 - Full Voting Breakdown:

Full voting breakdown for Series Eighteen will be available here: SERIES 18 VOTING.

"Strictly Come Dancing" Series :

Keep up to date with all the news and information on series 16 of the BBC's hit show Strictly Come Dancing.

Series 18 will air on BBC1 prime time, Saturdays, commencing with the launch show on Saturday 17th October. The show will follow a similar format to previous series, however this year it will be COVID-19 safe and have some restrictions in plcae. There will be 12 couples taking part (6 male celebrities and 6 female celebrities).
BBC2 continues the "Behind the scenes" programme "Strictly Come Dancing - It takes two" presented by Zoe Ball and Rylan Clarke-Neal. This show will air week nights 6.30pm - 7.00pm.

The competition will initially air on Saturday nights starting on 24th October. The first two weeks will see an accumulation of the scores, then the voting lines will be opened. There will once more be a "dance off" where the two couples with the lowest scores after the judges & public votes are combined will have to perform again. The judges will then make the final decision on the couple to leave the competition.

This year a new dance category has been introduced "Couples choice". The couples are allowed to choose one of three different styles:
  • Contemporary - Think lyrical/balletic/modern.
  • Street/Commercial - Think urban/commercial/pop.
  • Theatre/Jazz - Think Musical theatre/burlesque/tap etc.
There will be no performances from the Blackpool Tower Ballroom this year due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The winners of the 17th Strictly Come Dancing Series - Kelvin Fletcher & Otile Mabuse.
