Series 7 - Winter 2009 - Full Voting Breakdown:

Full voting breakdown for Series Seven is available here: SERIES 7 VOTING.

"Strictly Come Dancing" Series :

Keep up to date with all the news and information on series 7 of the BBC's hit show Strictly Come Dancing.

Series 7 airs on BBC1 prime time, on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th September 2009. The show will follow a similar format to previous series, this time with 16 couples taking part. The Sunday night results show is to be dropped this series in favour of a 90 minute Saturday night show. Bruce Forsythe & Tess Daly continue to present the BBC 1 Saturday night programme.
BBC2 continues the "Behind the scenes" programme "Strictly Come Dancing - It takes two" presented once again by Claudia Winkleman. This show will air week nights 6.30pm - 7.00pm.

For the first two weeks all couples will dance one ballroom & one latin dance. 8 couples have been chosen at random to contest week 1 (the remainder will dance in week 2). The ballroom round will be shown on BBC 1 on Friday nights and the latin round on BBC on Saturday nights. After week one, one couple will leave and again in week two one couple will leave. Week 3 sees the whole show run on BBC 1 on Saturday nights.

The competition takes place on the Saturday night show, then the voting lines will be opened. The two couples with the lowest scores after the judges & public votes are combined will have to perform a "dance off". Each will be allowed to perform their dance again and the judges will make the final decision on the couple to leave the competition. This format has been chosen as several strong competitors have left in the early weeks of past series.

The winners of the 7th Strictly Come Dancing Series Are Chris Hollins & Ola Jordan.
